About this game

Light has disappeared as darkness has taken over. Now all is dependent on one small light source that can bring light back to this world by defeating the darkness.

Unlit is a short story based platform game. It has many hidden secrets and paths, which come as you progress, along with a beautiful side scrolling arcade gameplay.

This game is filled with an extremely soothing and relaxing environment along with a meditative music that plays in the background.

This game has an amazing use of shadows which play as the core mechanic of the design of the game. With it's point and click arcade gameplay and it's short story this game becomes the most immersive indie platform game.

Along with the amazing graphics this game has the coolest casual gameplay. It's point and click gameplay and the basic shooting mechanics make it the best casual side scrolling game ever.

Its a good game with some promise though like some of the others here im exeperiencing optimization issues. Because of that getting the controls to respond takes a few tries and if i do i cant let it stop moving or i lose control again. At the moment i cant finish but i haven't given up on it yet since the author is technically new at this i believe it might be worth the wait.

Update 9/21/19: I am not using a PC or an emulator to play this game. And for your information, all mobile games on the Play Store should have a back button or an exit button when leaving the game. Roughly 75% of them actually have a back/exit button that allows players to leave the game when finished. Yours obviously, does not. And from what I can tell, it needs more work done but it's a decent indie game nonetheless. Still 3 stars.

Are you playing it on PC using an emulator or are you on mobile? Because you can shoot while moving. Unless you're on PC because it's not optimized for an emulator right now. And for the rest, it's to make the game much more challenging, otherwise it would've been too easy. Also, a mobile game doesn't need an exit button. Thanks for the review.

The game's interesting, although it still requires a lot of work. There are glitches: you can fly through some walls, the saving doesn't work properly, sometimes after dying we start off the map. In addition, I personally couldn't finish the game because the game stopped on a white screen and nothing showed. A huge plus for graphics, control is also fine. The save option at the lanterns is pretty cool. Overall, the game has a lot of potential, but it still needs some work. 44encouragement (:
